Mexico's government is discussing allegations that the United States spied on the Mexican government. A report this week in Germany's Der Spiegel said documents from former NSA contractor Edward Snowden indicate the U.S. gained access to former Mexican President Felipe Calderon's email system while he was in office.

It was just one of a series of recent reports on America spying on its allies. U.S. Ambassador to Mexico, Anthony Wayne, says President Obama is taking the allegations seriously, but he says he won't comment on the allegations and is reviewing how the U.S. collects intelligence.
