EL PASO - El Paso Water Utilities says the reservoirs are returning to normal levels and will lift the restrictions tonight at 10 p.m.

To be safe, EPWU is asking people to refrain from turning on your sprinklers or any kind of outdoor irrigation through Saturday.

There are still two reservoirs in the Mission Hills/Piedmont area that have below-normal levels. EPWU says their crews are working to fix the issue.

EPWU and the Department of Public Health are still advising people to boil water before drinking it.

The utilities are going to pay a heavy price for not being prepared. Get ready because it is coming. And as for the city...what is this nonsense of havin to pay $70+ dollars for a permit to repair a leaking pipe? Real stupid. Get Real and repeal this nonsense or we may repeal you.

It is so baffling to me and I'm sure many will agree, that our city has NEVER been prepared when natural disasters occur!! Every city should ALWAYS be prepared for ANY type of drastic changes in weather! If you can't take the blame, be prepared!!

the only thing thats really below-normal levels is the mental attitude of the city government and the people in charge of the utility companies.
