EL PASO — Police are investigating an overnight stabbing in the Cincinnati Entertainment District. The victim, 19-year-old Esteban Villa engaged in a physical confrontation that resulted in him receiving multiple stab wounds to the upper torso.

The victim's condition is unknown. 

Officers questioned several witnesses, but police have not confirmed if the crime happened inside, or outside one of the businesses on Cincinnati St.  Firefighters remained on the scene washing bloodstains off the street. 

Police said at least one person is in custody.  Investigators have not released details about the victim, or the suspect.
