el paso police department is nothing but a joke........

i am not surprised that this happened.....the police here have a hard time prioritizing what is important whats not... i had a case where someone was breaking into my house and luckly nothing happened, the individual just broke my window and i was ready to defend my family with a kitchen knife....i called the police and they said a unit was on its way.....took them 4 hours to get there.....the officer said sorry, that they were all busy from a drive by shooting....seriously..all of them busy ??!

If you gentlemen believe you could do it better (there is more to it than you think) then by all means join the men in blue and show them how to do it. Until you step up, trust that they know what they're doing, after all El Paso is one of the Top 10 Safest Cities...

there is no excuse this is just plain embarrassing and incompetence. It does not mean I don't support the police and the work they do but in this case my friend it is what it is. I mean you send half your force including swat and this guy gets away. I'm sorry but it's either a case of incompetence or corruption cuz someone let him go. Everyone should support the police and give them credit when credit is due and to reprimand when an error has been made especially cuz they are public servants

Wow, he was in an apartment, really! how was he able to escape? yeah the cops here are a joke.

Nice to see that the state of the art training the police get, funded by our tax dollars, is being well put to use.

the cops here are a joke they are too used to setting up check points. how did he escape wow i feel really safe.
