It is a shame that a young police officer is killed by a drunk driver. There should be Strict enforcement on the border city on keeping El Paso citizens safe from people who have no regards for human life. How many DUIs have gone unpunished or you can count the number of times that the same people are caught and released with a fine and a slap on the wrist. Their photos is posted on the internet for all to see and still that weekend they are caught again for the same crime.

And so I pray his spirit soars
Where the laws of man do not apply,
May his spirit be at peace
Amidst the angels in the sky.
