UPDATE: New details in shooting death of Saeed Nami

El Paso — Two men remain behind bars, facing charges of shooting and killing a teenager outside his West El Paso home.
George Diamos and Geoff Bond, both 21 are both facing capital murder charges. The pair allegedly shot and killed 18-year-old Saeed Nami Monday night next to Palo Verde Park in West El Paso.
According to the arrest affidavit obtained by NewsChannel 9 late Thursday, both Diamos and Bond confronted Nami as he stood beside his vehicle. The report goes on to state that Diamos and Bond asked Nami for his backpack; when he refused, the pair allegedly opened fire.
Nami's brother, who witnessed the shooting, then yelled at both men. The pair then allegedly opened fired on him as well, narrowly missing him.
Diamos was arrested Tuesday night at an apartment complex in Las Cruces. He's also facing a charge of battery on a police officer, for allegedly head butting an officer after his arrest.
Bond was apprehended on the 6100 block of Tejas in El Paso. Their mug shots are not being released.
Nami was facing drug charges when he was killed, and his mother believes the murder was related.
