Julio Barrera, 17, a Las Cruces teen wanted on voyeurism charges and a probation violation, surrendered at a juvenile probation office Friday.

The Doña Ana County Sheriff's Department issued a warrant for Barrera's arrest on Tuesday after he failed to meet with his probation officer.

The teen is also charged with one fourth-degree felony count of voyeurism after he was allegedly caught watching a 14-year-old family member in the shower.

Barrera was on probation for two different charges of unlawful possession of a handgun and possession of marijuana in a school zone, both in 2012.

In 2013, he was convicted of breaking and entering and criminal damage to property.
