A city recreation center is temporarily closed right now due to a natural gas leak.

The Multipurpose Recreation Center and the Therapeutic and Instructional Pool at 9031 Viscount Blvd. is closed until further notice. The gas leak occurred last night, and workers shut off the gas completely.

The manager of the center tells us crews are working on it right now and they hope to reopen this afternoon
