Update: Amber Alert Issued For Missing New Mexico Teen

Update: At this time it has been learned that the original license plate given out for the vehicle we are searching for was incorrect. The license plate on the vehicle we are asking help in locating is California DPS 8286. The Vehicle is a Pearl in color 2000 Lincoln Towncar. Information has also been recieved that the child Safrina Ugsang, 15 Y.O.A. is now in the company of her father Robert Ugsang and younger sister, Vanessa Ugsang, 13 Y.O.A. Anyone with information can contact Sierra County Dispatch at 575-894-7111.
 

New Mexico State Police issued an Amber Alert for Safrina Ugsang, 15, who is missing from Truth or Consequences, New Mexico.

Police believe Ugsang was abducted by her uncle, Chris Salgado, 48.  The teenage girl was last seen with Salgado walking away from her home on Yucca St. at 12:30 a.m. Thursday.  

Authorities believe the girl is in danger of being sexually assaulted by her uncle.

Safrina is described as 5'2" in height and weighs about 117 pounds.  She has long black hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a black shirt and black pants.

Salgado, her uncle, is described as being 6'5" in height, weighs about 250 pounds and is either bald, or has short black hair.  He has several tattoos on his chest, fingers, arms and neck.

Safrina and Salgado may also be traveling with the girl's father, Robert Ugsang.  They are said to be driving a 2000 Lincoln Town Car, pear white in color, with California license plates.

The group may be traveling to the Pomona, California area where police said they recently lived.
