EL PASO — El Paso Police anticipated the arrival of the U.S. Honor Flag, which pays tribute to men and women in uniform who have lost their lives protecting the country and community. The flag was to be dedicated to the honor of Officer Jonathan Molina, who police said was brutally assaulted, then died from his injuries last week. 

Police said Molina had approached three suspects in central El Paso Sept. 26 for allegedly vandalizing his car. One of the suspects attacked Molina, who fell unconscious and was continuously beat by capital murder suspect Juan Gonzalez.
