TxDOT campaign to reduce Hispanic drunk drivers
El Paso, TX (KTSM) — TxDOT launched a campaign Thursday to help prevent Hispanics from drinking and driving.
With Mexican Independence Day right around the corner on September 16th, TxDOT officials wants drivers to aware about the dangers of mixing alcohol with the roadways.
On average, Hispanic men between the ages of 18 and 34 account for nearly half of all alcohol-related crashes in texas.
During TxDOT's Hispanic Impaired Driving Prevention Campaign, TxDOT officials, along with other organizations, will be educating Texans on impaired driving laws and the dangers behind it.
