TX Attorney General's Office develops human trafficking prevention manual
AUSTIN, TX (KVEO NEWS CENTER 23) — Texas Attorney General Greg Abbott announced to the Texas Human Trafficking Prevention Task Force on a new resource to help dismantle human trafficking operations in the state.
The manual will help coordinate criminal justice professionals at all levels of local, state, federal, private and public, through training and awareness, the ability to identify human trafficking when they encounter it.
The manual can be viewed at www.texasattorneygeneral.gov which provides information in ways to identify, investigate and prosecute those involved in human trafficking.
The state formed the Texas Human Trafficking Prevention Task Force in 2009 to help fight human trafficking.
