EL PASO--- Two locals are dead after two traffic fatalities.

The first happened Friday evening in the Lower Valley.

Investigators say a 61-year-old woman was backing out of her driveway when she hit another woman walking by.

Nidia Acosta, 33, became stuck in the car's front tire.

Rescue crews rushed her to University Medical Center where she died.

Police say speed and alcohol were not factors.

Then Saturday morning, a man died after rolling his car over in Northeast El Paso.

Police tell NewsChannel 9 Adrian Vasquez was driving on Highway 54 when he veered off the road and hit a guardrail.

The 21-year-old then flipped over.

Investigators say he was not wearing a seatbelt and died at the scene.
No word if speed or alcohol were involved in the crash.
