There were two stabbings, one fatal, in Las Cruces. Tonight one Dona Ana county man has been arrested for murder. Oscar Duran is charged with second degree murder.

Authorities say he stabbed 39-year-old Andrew Jobe at Jobe's home after an argument. Duran is being held at the Dona Ana County Detention Center under a $50,000 bond.

And, a man is recovering tonight at University Medical Center after another stabbing in Las Cruces. Police arrested Pablo Nuanes for stabbing a man in the neck and severing one of the man's toes.

Authorities say it happened after a verbal argument escalated at a home on the 300 block of El Molino Boulevard. That's when Nuanes allegedly stabbed the man in the throat and slammed a door on his foot. The victim is in stable condition tonight.
