Two El Salvadorian MS-13 gang members added to Texas' Most Wanted List

EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) - Two suspected murderers and members of the dangerous MS-13 gang have been added to Texas' Most Wanted Fugitive list.

Douglas Alexander Herrera-Hernandez, 20, is wanted on two counts of murder. DPS alleges he was involved in a June 2016 murder in Missouri City, south of Houston and a separate murder on July 9, 2017 in Houston.

Herrera-Hernandez is an El Salvadorian national who has living in the U.S. illegally. He has ties to Houston and Galveston and also has known ties to California. DPS says he may be traveling with a 19-year-old El Salvadorian woman and her infant child.

He's described as 5'8", weighing approximately 150 pounds and may go by the name Alexander Hernandez or the nickname of 'Terror.'

A second man who is a known MS-13 member, Carlos Alberto Gonzalez-Barahona, 26, was also added to the DPS Most Wanted list on suspicion of murder. He's an El Salvadorian native also living in the US illegally and has reportedly been deported multiple times.

On June 18, 2017 he allegedly shot and killed his estranged girlfriend at their apartment in northwest Houston. He also allegedly kidnapped the driver of a pickup at gunpoint in nearby Brazoria County and abandoned the truck June 20 in Wharton County.

Gonzalez-Barahona is 5'10" inches tall and weighs approximately 170 pounds. He has a tattoo of a star near his left elbow, and other tattoos on his abdomen, back, chest, legs, arms, both wrists and right ear.
