Sheriff's Deputies Say Argument Escalated Into Violence
El Paso County Sheriff's Deputies are looking for clues in a murder that left two brothers dead.
It happened at the A&M Bar on the 11000 block of Alameda around 2 o'clock this morning.
That's when witnesses reported hearing shots fired outside the bar.
When sheriff's deputies arrived they found two brothers, 37 year-old Jose Vargas and 46 year-old Jesus Vargas lying next to a dumpster. Jose died at the scene. Jesus died later at Thomason Hospital.
Investigators believe the two men were having an argument inside the bar with the shooter. Then it escalated into an act of violence outside.
Several people have been taken into custody for questioning. So far, no arrests have been made.
