Expect to spend more time waiting at the airport. The TSA Monday said the sequester will cause security delays.

The Transportation Security Administration said spending cuts caused a hiring freeze leaving thousands of screener jobs unfilled.

The TSA said those reductions will slow passenger screening times at least 30 minutes during the busy summer travel season.

They warned some passengers could wait even longer depending on the airport and peak travel times.
