FORT WORTH, TX - Three people were rescued after a traffic accident in Forth Worth, Texas today that left the cab of an 18-wheeler dangling over the side of an interstate.

Two people in the car that was crushed by the semi were rescued several hours after the accident. They were taken to a local hospital. Their condition is not known at this time.

Firefighters used a ladder truck to rescue the truck driver who was treated for minor injuries.

An investigation into the cause of the accident is underway.
