Roomstore Helps Frustrated Customer

EL PASO - The trouble between a Westway woman and a West El Paso furniture store is resolved.

Roomstore Furniture says they didn't know Maria Garcia was paying for furniture that hadn't been delivered until they saw our report. Maria bought furniture from Roomstore and paid for the extra warranty, but when she tried to use that warranty she was left with no new furniture and a bill that nearly doubled.

First thing Friday morning Roomstore called Maria, fixed her bill, gave her a $200 credit. They're also going to fix her couches.

A spokesperson for Roomstore says they take customer satisfaction very seriously.
