EL PASO - An update on a Trouble Shooters case we opened last month.

Siara Moreno said her mom paid a man named Joseph Manssore more than $40,000 to remodel her house, but the job is not done and she says what has been done is shoddy.

She says she hasn't completely paid off the contract, but Mansorre is demanding more money than they agreed to in order to finish.

Moreno said she will likely sue Mansorre.

EL PASO, TX - A woman says she paid more than $40,000.00 dollars to a man to remodel her house, but the work hasn't been finished and she says what has been done is shoddy.

Siara Moreno talked to us on behalf of her mom who wasn't comfortable with her English. Moreno says she hasn't completely paid off the contract, but the man, Joseph Mansorr, is demanding more money than they agreed to. She says she's afraid to give it to him because of the quality of work he has done.

"We did get another estimate in order to fix whatever he did it's going to take about $60,000.00 dollars on top of what was already payed to him."

Mansorr refused to do an on camera interview. He said he will work with Moreno on what she's not happy about, but he wants to be paid more money first. He said Moreno changed remodeling plans and agreed to pay him more money. Moreno says she did not agree to pay more money.

"We need a law that's going to protect us as consumers. We want things done right."

We'll let you know what happens.
