EL PASO - Another construction worker is turning to a local attorney for help getting paid.

Last month, a group of construction workers told us they hadn't been paid in weeks. They're building a luxury hotel near I-10 and Airway, but the contractor and sub-contractor disagreed on who was responsible for paying them.

A local attorney saw our story and stepped forward to help, and now he's helping two construction workers take their fight to court.

So far, the employers haven't responded to the first lawsuit filed late last month. When they do respond, we'll let you know what they say.

I believe there are a lot of companies out there that are doing that ,they take advanage of the worker ,that is wrong , Peopel need the work and a lot of times don't take time to ask or check out the company. Take time ask questions Good LUCK

how about instead of dumping money into a dump why dont the city put money into the joe battle and mootwood problem???the light over there backs up cars for miles? the light only last a total of 10 seconds i know becasue i live behind the super target over there!! i even got a 75 dollar ticket for running a red there at that intersection but i fought it and won because of how bad it is,, what is it going to take the city to realize the magntude of that problem? huh can anyone answer me?

IF THESE CONSTRUCTION COMPANIES ARE NOT EVEN PAYING THEM THIER SALERIES, SOMEONE SHOULD CHECK TO SEE IF THESE COMPANIES ARE ALSO "NOT" PROVIDING PROPER SAFETY AS PER OSHA REQUIRMENTS ON THIS JOB??!!
