Trouble Shooters: Check Scam

It came via mail, a sweepstakes check, promising big bucks to Ana Oropeza. Ana says the check looks "so much" like the real thing.
"It was very tempting especially when they don't need any information from us...it is very tempting," Ana said.
Tempting enough that her husband called the number listed on the letter: It says call "Willy."
But Ana wasn't gullible instead she got suspicious and began researching the company online. Ana found many people complaining about a check scam involving Mass Mutual Financial the company listed in the letter.
At that point...Ana called Newschannel 9's Trouble Shooters to investigate.
we also got a check for $4750.00, from a sweepstakes, under a different company and amount, but with a different call back name, it siad it was to pay the taxes on the big prize money, they wanted us to deposit the check, and then withdraw a money gram and sent it to them( YEA RITE Im not that stupid) money gram..... they should've sent me a money gram
