You might want to avoid central El Paso Saturday morning. The Mighty Mujer Triathalon will tie up traffic in the area. It starts at 7 a.m. and ends at all 11 a.m. Most all of it in the area around Memorial Park. Sun Metro is detouring bus routes 34, 36, and 41 because of the race.

Route 34 Detour: Buses traveling outbound, east on Nevada will turn right onto Grandview, left onto Idaho, right onto Atlanta, right onto Cotton, left onto Montana, left onto Pershing, right onto Piedras returning to the regular route. Buses traveling inbound, north on Cotton, if unable to turn onto Grandview, will turn left into Atlanta, left onto Idaho, right onto Grandview returning to the regular route.

Route 36 Detour: Buses traveling outbound, east on Rio Grande will turn right onto Florence, left onto Montana, left onto Cotton returning to the regular route. Then, buses traveling north on Kentucky will turn right onto Richmond, left onto Louisiana, right onto Jefferson, left onto Piedras, right onto Pierce, left onto Copia, right onto Hayes, left onto Dyer, left onto Fred Wilson returning to the regular route. Buses traveling inbound, west on McKinley will turn left into Louisiana, right onto Richmond continuing to the regular route. Then, buses traveling south on Cotton will turn right onto Montana, right onto Florence, left onto Arizona continuing to the regular route.

Route 41 Detour: Buses traveling outbound, north on Piedras will turn right onto Pierce, left onto Copia, right onto Hayes, left onto Dyer, left onto Fred Wilson returning to the regular route. Buses traveling inbound, west on Fred Wilson will turn right onto Dyer, right onto Hayes, left onto Copia, right onto Pierce, left onto Piedras returning to the regular route.
