Trial begins for man accused of driving into a group of people, killing woman
The trial for a man accused of driving his car into a group of people at a party two years ago killing a woman started Monday.
Miguel Tinoco is charged with murder and four counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
Police said then 19-year-old Tinoco was asked to leave a party back in July 2012 and that led to an argument.
According to authorities, Tinoco started driving away, but decided to make a U-turn and gunned it in the direction of a group of people standing against the curb. Miriam Aguirre, 23 was killed.
