Trending on Yahoo Wednesday is the topic of aspirin but it wasn’t over a headache.
A UK study reported that the cheapest medication in the American household may have a role in cancer prevention and treatment. Researchers said those taking aspirin had a 15 percent lower risk of dying and a 38 percent reduced chance of developing cancer. Patients already suffering from cancer had lower chances of the disease spreading. Click here for more on this story.

Taking a jump over to education, there's an app for that!
An app development class that is..in Wednesday's Facebook Story of the Day, high school students received lessons on one of the fastest-growing sectors of the tech industry.

"I think it prepares us a lot more for the real world in terms of actually doing the things that we're trained to do,"

The 12-week class integrates science, engineering, and math. It was only being offered in five high schools across the country.

A trending story on Facebook would lift anyone's spirits..literally.

A Utah woman celebrated 101 years of life in full flight. Great-great grandmother Mary Hardison also broke a Guiness World record as the oldest female to paraglide tandem. Though, she said the adventure was more about enjoying life, keeping active, and remaining positive, which is what she says has helped keep her around for so long.

"I have to decide whether i'm going to be grouchy or happy. everybody has to decide… and nobody likes a grouchy person."
