A family is without a home after their mobile trailer goes up in flames.
Fire crews responded to the home in northeast El Paso just before 3 p.m.
The El Paso Fire Department says when emergency crews arrived, they saw flames coming out the front door.

The fire department says a worn-out electrical cord from an air conditioner sparked the blaze, causing around $8,000 dollars in damage.

The fire department says fire trucks and 19 fire fighters quickly put out the blaze.
A family member says one of the children in the home left an iron turned on, but investigators have not yet determined what caused the fire.
The family says their two dogs died in the fire.
Authorities say most of the home is lost, but the family will be able to return to the trailer to salvage a few belongings.

"These mobile homes, unfortunately a little fire does a lot of damage, so there is quite a bit of smoke and fire damage to the residence.".
Thankfully no people were injured in the fire.
