Police pulled over a white Ford Mustang for speeding on Tuesday, leading to the arrest of three individuals for having outstanding warrants.

The driver, 19-year-old David Paiz, initially provided a false identity when stopped, then tried to flee the scene on foot, police said. He was caught moments later, and further investigation determined Paiz had six warrants for burglary of a home and vehicle, assault and various traffic violations. He was arrested for the warrants in addition to charges of evading arrest and for providing a false identity.

The passengers were identified as Sara Mitchell, and Andres Garcia, both 22. Police said Garcia had four outstanding court warrants and Mitchell had six outstanding court warrants. Both were arrested and booked.
