EL PASO, TX — Tomorrow County Commissioners court will ask the county judge to sign a $6,348,107.40 contract.
The contract is with Dan Williams, the company that will build the Tornillo-Guadalupe International bridge. The project has been in the works since last summer. When completed, it will be the largest port of entry in the country and will replace the existing Fabens-Caseta International Bridge. The port of entry is located about 30 miles east of downtown El Paso. It will be built as a commercial bridge to relieve traffic entering the U.S.
