MEXICO - One of Mexico's most powerful drug traffickers is under arrest.

Manuel Fernandez Vellencia is reputed to be a main collaborator of notorious trafficker "El Chapo" Guzman.

Fernandez was arrested Sunday during a police operation in northern Mexico after a shootout.

Police said they had been looking for Fernandez for a long time.

"El Chapo" Guzman is head of the Sinaloa Cartel and considered one of the main players in a bloody turf war that exploded in 2005.

If anyone can get info on “El Chapo Guzman,” it would be William Bastone from the Smoking Gun! Bill Bastone is not afraid of this GUESO from Sinaloa Mexico. Bill Bastone might just walk right up to El Chapo Guzman’s door and find out how he keeps making the Forbe Magazines billionaire list! I think Bill Bastone from the Smoking Gun might be going to Juarez Mexico for a month, like a real man and get what’s really happening on the Mexico/American borders. If anyone can expose this mess about the

JAJAJA u guys are a bunch of idots "EL CHAPO" is never gona get caught if the goverment wasnt so cricket people like him and the people that work with him would not have to be doin stuff like that and hope fully they never stop "EL CHAPO" and todos del cartel de culiacan les mando un saludo e k no se aguiten de la captura del manuel

Nanae, the answer to this is, let the US declare a Failed State territory 25 miles south of our entire border with Mexico, send in the Marines, Special Ops types to deal with the Cartel operatives, and see how long it takes to clean up this buffer zone. only wishful thinking

i strongly disagree for every top drug dealer kills their is already someone next in line to take his place i stonly believe that the only way to put an end to this is to simply increase security in the border and not only that but we should be allowed to send us troops to mexico to help them fight the cartels and bring back the peace not only for our safety but for it's ppl and children . we don't know how lucky we are to not hae to worry as much as they do.

With a astounding 3% conviction rate Mexico is dealing out to these criminals caught, he has a 97% chance he will never get convicted. WHAT A JOKE on the Mexican judicial system. They are as corrupt as the criminals themselves. FAILED STATE, FAILED STATE, FAILED STATE

el chapo guzman is next to be killed that fool el chapo guzman is going to be killed soon
