Time To Fill Up Your Empty Soup Bowls
Each year, the Potters Guild of Las Cruces works with El Caldito Soup Kitchen host empty bowls, a fundraiser for El Caldito.
The Potters' Guild of Las Cruces holds Empty Bowls annually in mid-October to hunger by raising funds for El Caldito Soup Kitchen. Guild members make over 1,000 bowls each year, local restaurants donate soup, and ticket-holders enjoy a soup lunch and take home a hand-made pottery bowl.
The annual fundraising event Empty Bowl for El Caldito Soup Kitchen of Las Cruces, will be held 11:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m., Friday, October 19, 2012 at St. Paul's United Methodist Church, 225 W. Griggs Ave. (at the corner of Alameda Boulevard and Griggs Avenue).
Tickets are $15 in advance or $18 at the door.
