After playing against the Longhorns last week, New Mexico State University is squaring off against another big opponent at home this Saturday.

At 6 p.m. the Aggies take on the Minnesota Golden Gophers at Aggie Memorial Stadium.

"We're going to need a great crowd behind us to help us in this game," said Head Coach Doug Martin.

Martin is asking students and fans come out to the and said the team will be relying on the support.

Last Saturday NMSU held their own for a half on the road against Texas, but eventually lost 56 - 7.

The Aggies are looking forward to rebounding against Minnesota.

"We look forward to playing hard for you," Martin said.

Ticket sales are moving steadily along with about 2,000 single game tickets already sold.

NMSU has about 5,000 season ticket-holders and reserves about 6,000 seats for students.

Game starts at 6 on Saturday.
