EL PASO - You drink, you drive, you lose... especially if you slam into two police cars on the road.
That's what Marco Medina, 32, is accused of doing. Police say their cars were parked near Mesa and Resler on Saturday morning, with their lights on, when Medina slammed into them. Officers checked him out, and they say he was drunk. Now he's charged with DWI.
Police say David Boyer, 40, is a drunk driver who's alive because of an off-duty police officer. Witnesses say Boyer sped past them on I-10 on Saturday morning, when he slammed into a light pole and a guard rail. The off-duty officer rushed to the car and pulled him out before it went up in flames. Now Boyer has his life and a DWI charge.
Police say Angel Ortiz, 24, was drunk when he slammed into the back of a car that was stopped for a red light. It happened at Mesa and Sunland Park on Saturday morning, and now he's also charged with driving drunk.
