One Family Upset Over Decision

The Three Legged Monkey on Hawkins near Montana in East El Paso has been allowed to renew their liquor license.
The Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission says they have settled their case with the bar, but they will have to operate under certain restrictions.
Those details are still being sorted out by the TABC, and a final decision is expected by the end of the month.

Family members of Lourdes Lopez are upset over this decision.
They say they are partially to blame for her death.
As we reported, Lopez died last June when she slammed head on into another vehicle in Horizon City.
She died at the scene.
Authorities say she had just returned from the Three Legged Monkey.
Her BAC (blood alcohol level) was at .23, close to three times the legal limit.
Her family says bartenders should have stopped serving her alcohol when they noticed she was drunk.

You all are just a bunch of dumb-asses. How would you feel if you lost sister, brother, father or relative. Yes, everyone has their limits and it could have been prevented had they stopped selling the alcohol.

Another case of passing the buck. Trying to shirk ones responsibility. This girl decided to drink. She killed herself plain and simple.

I think the Three Legged Monkey shouldn't be at fault for her death! They did not tell her to drive or whatever. That was her own fault, so i hate to see a business get hurt over something they blame on them. No one tells her to drink! That was her own fault, she should have called a CAB! I know there are tons of CABS outside the bars, so there no excuse! Stop blaming other people for there own actions.

Tragic...yes, but maybe she should have known her limits...nobody ever wants to concede that there's such a thing as personal responsibility.

WTF.... its to bad that people are being penalized for others actions. she got was she got. maybe her family should have had someone pick her up!.
