Thhree people are dead in the latest wave of violence in Juarez.
One of them is an advisor to a federal congressman. Carlos Maynez was ambushed while stopped in his truck at an intersection in north Juarez.
He was shot sevearl times and rushed to the hospital in critical condition but he died minutes later.
Maynez was working as an advisor for Cruz Perez Cuellar, a congressman of the Pan Party.
No arrests have been reported.
Two other men were killed in front of a school in central Juarez. Police tell us they were driving when gunmen opened fire.
Authorities have not released their identities.
No suspects have been named.
