Thousands Pack New Stadium for Free Concert
CIUDAD JUAREZ — Nearly 70,000 people gathered to celebrate the grand opening of a brand new baseball stadium in Juárez Monday night. Mexican pop star Juan Gabriel held a free concert in the new $15 million dollar facility. The stadium only holds about 15,000 people. The rest of the concert goers watched from outside on television screens. The Indios baseball team played their first baseball game in the stadium Tuesday night.
