It's been non-stop work for insurance agent Mike Rosales and his employees. Wednesday's hail storm inundated local State Farm agencies with thousands of claims.

"We have had an excess of 1,200 claims in homes alone. At this point, we're probably over a thousand in auto claims and they're still coming," Mike says.

Daniel Gordon is one of those customers. He was at work when the storm hit.

"A guy came and said, look it's hailing. Then everybody ran, looking out the window. All you could do is stand there and cry," he says.

His 2009 SUV took a big hit.

"The hail dinged it up, it looks like a golf ball on wheels. It cracked the windshield pretty good," Daniel tells us.

With so many claims coming in, State Farm is calling on extra help.

"It's all based on the amount of losses that we have as to how many people we bring in, but we have these people scattered throughout the country," agent Mike Rosales says.

Eventually they get to all of their customers. In the meantime, Mike says the key is to be patient and protect your property from further damage.
