EL PASO - The public will have the chance to pay tribute to friends, family and loved ones who have lost their lives to violent crimes.

The Annual Crime Victims' Memorial Ceremony will be held this Sunday, April 17th, at the Ed Marquez Library at Yucca Park.

All 1,300 names engraved on the Crime Victim's Memorial will be read.

The 61 names of victims added this year will also be recognized.

The ceremony will take place from 8:30 a.m. to noon.

What a great job the Crime Victim Rights Council does to recognize victims in this community. Jaime Esparza is to be applauded for the efforts his office takes to help those who suffer from the loss of life and property. Linda King
