Texas Sues Over Health Care Reform

President Signs Controversial Bill

Texas - Republican attorneys general from 13 states including Texas are suing the federal government to stop the massive health care overhaul, claiming it's unconstitutional.

The lawsuit was filed immediately after President Barack Obama signed the overhaul bill Tuesday. It names the U.S. departments of Health and Human Services, Treasury and Labor.

Florida Attorney General Bill McCollum is taking the lead in the lawsuit.

Attorneys general from Texas, South Carolina, Nebraska, Michigan, Utah, Pennsylvania, Alabama, South Dakota, Louisiana, Idaho, Washington and Colorado are joining in.

Other GOP attorneys general may join the lawsuit later or sue separately.

The lawsuit was filed in federal court in Pensacola.

Good for those states! While most people will agree that the health care system needs to be overhauled, Obama and his government have no right to FORCE people to pay for it.

You know one thing I can't understand for the life of me the health care system is broke now. Just because a president wants a new one nobody likes it especially Republicans. Now we want to use tax payers money to sue the Health Care system waiste more money. Don't we need to focus on something else your not going to please everyone the system we are in now does not please many people so get over it and lets see how this works. Lets wake up trying to fix Last presidents bone head mistakes.
