Texas State Troopers and Texas Rangers are investigating an officer-involved shooting that happened at 4:55 p.m. Sunday in East El Paso.

According Trooper Elizabeth Barney, Spokesperson for the Texas Department of Public Safety, a Texas Parks and Wildlife Officer was in the area of Gateway East near Hawkins when shots were fired.
