Texas legislature passes cheating bill
El Paso, TX (KTSM) — The Texas legislature wants to make sure that cheating in El Paso schools doesn't happen anywhere else in the state. Lawmakers Monday passed a bill that would make the falsification of data by school district officials a third degree felony.
The bill was sponsored by State Representative Marissa Marquez and Senator Jose Rodriguez. Both are from El paso. The bill now awaits the Governor's signature.
