Texas Facing $11 Billion Shortfall

Austin, TX - Money isn't coming into Texas like it used to.

In fact, the state is facing an $11 billion budget shortfall when lawmakers convene in January.

The Dallas Morning News reports that sales tax receipts are up 1.4 percent over the same month last year, but the increase falls far short of making up any budget difference.
