EL PASO- Don't pass a stopped school bus or you're going to get a ticket, and you might hurt somebody.

This week is National School Bus Safety Week.

Officers are looking for drivers who pass school buses, even when the bus is stopped and all the lights are flashing.

Last year, the Texas Department of Public Safety handed out 414 tickets to drivers who ignored the rules.

The tickets aren't cheap either. They can cost up to a $1,000 dollars.
