Teen Shot With Rubber Bullet

EL PASO, Texas -- Police are investigating after a teenage boy showed up to an El Paso hospital after being shot with a rubber bullet.
Police said the boy showed up to the hospital just before 5 p.m. Monday and responded to the call after the hospital notified police.
A few minutes later, police received a call about a suicide in progress with a weapon on the 11800 block of Francis Scobee.
After short investigation, police found the two calls were related.
Police said the boy's apparent step father, shot the boy with a shot gun that had a rubber bullet.
The man was taken into custody while charges against him are pending.
