Las Cruces, NM — Get ready because the back to school tax-free holiday in New Mexico is this weekend. Starting on Friday, August 3 2012, school supplies, certain clothing and shoes, and certain computers will be   tax-free in New Mexico. It is expected to save New Mexico families hundreds of dollars in back to school supplies.

The tax free weekend in Texas will be on August 17, 18, and 19.
