Some folks making a run for the border can expect a pleasant surprise. Taco Bell is testing a            $1-menu which puts them in direct competition with the dollar menu at McDonalds'.

The Mexican fast food chain's "one dollar cravings menu" has nine items, including three new ones.
It's currently being tested in two markets. They are Fresno, California and Knoxville, Tennessee.
If it's a success, it would replace Taco Bell's current value menu called "why pay more."
