AUSTIN, TX — Google made its presence known at the South By Southwest Festival.
In an attempt to compete with Microsoft and Facebook, Google built its own village there.
The four-building campus is modeled on the company's famed Googleplex Headquarters in California.
It includes an Android House, a Maps House, a Developers House and Discovery House.
The 10-day festival that celebrates technology, music and pop culture is expected to see more than 50-thousand visitors in 2011.
