Las Cruces Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $1,000 for information that leads to arrest of the suspect or suspects who stole a swing set from East Picacho Elementary School.

The Dona Ana County Sheriff’s Office was alerted to the missing swing set that had not yet been erected at East Picacho Elementary, located at 4450 north Valley Dr. The swing set is believed to have been stolen sometime between March 20 and 21 of this year.

Las Cruces Public Schools officials noticed that the swing set was removed from school grounds a few days later when a private contractor arrived to erect the playground equipment.

If you have any information on who may have taken the swing set, or information on where the swing set may be, you are asked to call Las Cruces Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) or send a tip via text message to LCTIPS (528477).

The Crime Stoppers number and text messaging services are operational 24 hours a day and you do not have to give your name to collect a reward.
