Swine Flu Changes Habits
Have you noticed changes in the way you do basic things these days?
Maybe you're not shaking hands or keeping your kids home from school at the slightest sign of a sniffle.
At the Paradise Restaurant in Safety Harbor, Florida, they are serving up more than breakfast these days. The most popular side may be sanitizer.
"How many times a day do you sanitize those hands. Waitress: A lot, a lot."
In a place where a lot of hands touch a lot of things, stopping the spread of Swine Flu is the special of the day...
"All day long we're walking around."
Its become second nature to many of us. You might not even realize how much you are thinking about H1N1 until someone tries to do this...
"nice to meet you. Alright you just shook my hand" "you're scared you're going to catch something from me."
Luckily his sister had sanitizer...
"I always have it there"
A new poll from Com Psych Corporation shows more than 70% of workers have changed their behavior because of Swine Flu but it's not just in the workplace. At many churches, communion is now given into hands. Schools have dropped their perfect attendance awards preferring students stay home with any symptoms
"There are probably more important things to consider than perfect attendance."
While at Bailey's naturals,
"Hey should we elbow bump here or something?
Vitamin sales have jumped with the flu fears. Back at the Paradise, even giving out Halloween candy is unlike years' past...
"So nobody's sticking their hands in here any more? "no there is none of that."
A scary thought as the spread of the Swine Flu changes the way many people live.

We need to make sure that we follow as much as possible on "keeping safe" as we live our lives especially here in El Paso. With no H1N1 and or regular Flu vaccine dosages readily available in all El Paso we are really with our backs to the wall facing this pandemic influenza daily. We need daily and repeated guidance from our local, state and government health services and TV and newspaper news sources. WE NEED HELP IN EL PASO NOW!!!
