El Paso - - - Some think it was just a matter of time.

Eight cases of swine flu are now suspected in El Paso.

Lab samples from suspected cases are now being tested for swine flu.

By suspected cases, Mayor Cook says experts have not been able to identify the strain of flu but the symptoms are similar to those found in the swine variety.

"If there is any chance at all that this might be related to that flu as special taking every possible precaution."

Right now, there is little known about the suspected patients.
Mayor Cook says the city will not take any action until there are confirmed cases of the disease.
It could take five to 15 days for lab results to come back.
