Suspects remain on the loose after an overnight convenience store robbery

Law enforcement officials are investigating the second Howdy's store robbery in as many days after the Howdy's located at 11390 Gateway North near McCombs was robbed at approximately 3:30 a.m. Tuesday morning.

Police say that two Hispanic males walked into the Howdy's store, showed a gun to the clerk and demanded that the clerk give them money. They also grabbed several packages of cigarettes and left the Howdy's store.

The suspects are described as Hispanic men, one was approximately 6 ft tall with a goatee, wearing a gray hoodie. The second man was medium height wearing a black hoodie and a beanie cap.

Police are unable to confirm whether or not the robbery from Monday morning was connected, but are asking for the community's assistance identifying the suspects.
